Just when you thought crypto was dead again… it slaps you in the face. The bear market has been brutal to say the least, taking out even seasoned YouTubers like the guy below. Imagine making this video 2 days ago then watching BTC pump 42% in the single biggest move since 2011 and the forth largest 24hr gain in history.
So why the massive pump?
The Chinese president publicly announced that China is going all-in on blockchain technology across their economy stating…
“We must take blockchain as an important breakthrough for independent innovation of core technologies, clarify the main directions, increase investment, focus on a number of key technologies, and accelerate the development of blockchain and industrial innovation.”China’s President Xi Jinping
Now he does mention blockchain and not cryptocurrency, but let’s not kid ourselves here. This is a clear signal to the rest of the world that blockchain and cryptocurrency are for real and things are about to get really interesting. How will global powers react when they realise this new technology is not a scam but the future of our worlds economy?
The timing is impeccable too considering just 2 days ago Mark Zuckerberg pleaded with the US congress to take this technology seriously or be left behind…
So how does EOS fit into all of this? Well it just so happens that China also released their 13th Crypto Rankings and guess who is listed as no. 1….
With the looming launch of Block.one’s new social media platform Voice, regulatory clearance from the SEC, EOS ranking no.1 on China’s list of top Crypto projects and the possible beginnings of a new bull market sparked by China we could be looking at the perfect storm for EOS over the coming months.
Please don’t listen to me though as you will most likely get REKT!
