As mentioned before Poloniex is shutting down access to its platform to all of the US Customers. Here is the timeline of the unwinding of their services. Once again this applies specifically to US-based customers only:
October 18, 2019, US persons will no longer be able to create, or complete the set-up, of a new Poloniex account.
November 1, 2019, you will no longer be able to execute trades and should no longer deposit assets.
December 16, 2019, US persons must withdraw any cryptocurrencies from their Poloniex accounts or they will lose them.
Here’s a note from Poloniex:
Hello Poloniex US Customer,
IF YOU WANT THE CRYPTO ASSETS IN YOUR POLONIEX U.S. ACCOUNT, YOU MUST TRANSFER IT OUT BEFORE DECEMBER 16, 2019.
Poloniex US is closing. You must withdraw your crypto before December 16, 2019. After that date, you will no longer have direct access to your account. In addition, all cryptocurrencies remaining in your account after that date will be traded into and stored as USDC. Assets in dormant accounts may be sent to the account holder’s state, consistent with state regulations for abandoned property. Poloniex US may charge fees for these services consistent with applicable regulations.
If you have a balance in your Poloniex US account, you must withdraw all assets to another wallet or exchange as soon as possible, but before December 16, 2019.
The Poloniex US Team
