We reached out to a few teams and tried to get to know them better. Here are a few teams that shared some information about themselves with us.
This is a team out of Detroit area. Name of the team is a play on words since the team stems from Detroit and Detroit Blockchainers (DBC). There’s a famous quote in Detroit that goes like this:
So the team thought that DVCvEverybody would sound unique.
Here’s what the team is building:
We are looking to create a new product lineup for Liquidapps, which allows any dApp developer to have an identity layer within their product. This identity layer is not only going to be interoperable on EOS (meaning that the data and information between products can easily be communicated), but it will also be interoperable between EOS and Ethereum. The team I work with currently are one of the larger developers on an interoperable DID standard on Ethereum, and saw a massive need for identity layers in the EOS ecosystem. Making matters better, using LiquidLink, we’re able to now have those identities communicate between chains!
The new product we are looking to have it be called LiquidIdentity, which utilize LiquidLink and LiquidAccounts (potentially vRam) to create this whole new service. We are building on the ERC-1484 EIP, which is a DID aggregator and interoperable DID on Ethereum.
mEOS is a team of 3 developers from Central Asia (Uzbekistan). The team is working on a Telegram-integrated bot game with an integrated wallet.
We would like to present – mEOStoken, Telegram mEOS wallet and our first “Paid Trivia game”. Our slogan is – “Earn tokens by playing games”. We love games and we love building them. Our goal at the hackathon is to experiment with EOS to make games not only fun, but also profitable. We believe that next generation of games are not only about fun, but also about ‘mining’ money by playing, improving skills and sharing.
mEOS team plans to use vAccount feature of DAPP network to create multiple accounts and vRAM to store users balances so that it can scale the wallet to thousands of users almost for free. Once the accounts are set up, the team will engage users in participating in a Telegram-based Trivia game that they also are developing
We are just at the beginning or the new era of ‘game mining’ and we are happy to empower gamers by letting them monetize their passion.
GEEC is a father/son team (this already sounds very cool!).
Today’s most successful centralized applications are popular because they are simple, trustworthy, and predictable. Games like Fortnite can have 10 million players online at once., all chatting together on Discord. What if we could bring these users into OUR community?
Team Onessus harnesses the power of the DAPP network to offer gamers a Global Economic Esports Community, utilizing a new DAPP Network Service, called LiquidEscrow. LiquidEscrow will help with the arbitration and achievement of consensus within this new gaming community.
