“We’d like to introduce you to two new breakthroughs in interoperability across #EOSIO blockchains”, reads the LiquidApps announcement on Twitter. The breakthroughs being referred to here are blockchain solutions that move LiquidApps’ Inter-blockchain Communication (IBC) efforts – for EOSIO chains – forward a couple steps.
This they achieve by introducing to us two of their latest products, namely: Cross-Chain vRAM and Universal LiquidAccounts.
- Cross-Chain vRAM – vRAM is an alternative storage solution that provides developers that are building on the EOS blockchain with a more affordable service that utilizes RAM resources. Cross-Chain vRAM is an extension on that by making data stored on vRAM accessible to other blockchains that use the EOSIO protocol.
- Universal LiquidAccounts – affords users of any EOSIO chain the convenience of having one account that can interact with different blockchains, and the different dApps that run on these chains. This makes it effortless for a user to hop from one chain to another almost as easily as switching tabs on your web browser.
Cross-Chain vRAM and Universal LiquidAccounts solves two major issues facing the blockchain world today. For one, the lack of IBC is apparent to any user or enthusiast of blockchain. Users have dynamic interests and sometimes not all of those interests are facilitated by one blockchain, thus a user needs to access a different chain in order to connect to their other interests – the same applies to developers. Secondly, the requirement by each chain for users to have a native account is a big inconvenience and greatly detracts from a quality blockchain experience.
Imagine a world where a single account can act as a global keyring, transacting on any dApp and every blockchain. That future begins today!LiquidApps
With the creation of its two new solutions LiquidApps has done a great justice to blockchain technology. Developers and users alike will now have more freedom and flexibility to interact with their favorite blockchain protocol. EOSIO based developers can now distribute various parts of their applications to different blockchains without stressing about technical adjustments needed to ensure that users can still access them from a single blockchain. EOSIO users and enthusiasts can now easily manage and diversify their interests, as well as easily access opportunities and dApps from the benefit of a single multi-chain account.
LiquidApps is a technology company focused on optimizing decentralized development. Through its Dapp Network, which acts as a universal middleware solution to already existing blockchains, LiquidApps provides product solutions that help speed up the scaling of blockchain technology while also lowering entry costs for both developers and users.
