WordProof Timestamp available NOW from 10 million+ WordPress Dashboards!
WordProof Timestamp published on WordPress.org, available for millions of WordPress websites worldwide!
We have written about WordProof before and interviewed the founder – Sebastian van der Lans – in the EOSwriter Podcast 6. It doesn’t end there though: we use WordProof Timestamp to secure our content on the EOS blockchain! They have been in beta for a few weeks, but their WordPress plugin was just published on WordPress.org on Monday.
WordProof Timestamp allows millions of websites to timestamp their content, achieving two things: 1) websites secure ownership of their content and 2) websites give visitors the tools to do their do diligence. People can view the website content at different moments in time, sort of like the popular Way Back Machine.
After their plugin went live on WordPress.org, WordProof was featured by WP Tavern, an influentual blog in the WordPress ecosystem. It marks the start of an on boarding campaign for WordPress websites, which will really kick-off June 22nd. Sebastiaan will talk about WordProof at WordCamp Europe, the biggest yearly WordPress event in Europe. The entire WordProof team will be present in Berlin!
The event also marks the big product launch of WordProof Timestamp, with major updates compared to the current version.
“We as a team are highly committed to make the blockchain accessible for non-blockchain users. For many, the WordProof Timestamp plugin will the first blockchain tool they’ll ever use! Exciting times for the entire blockchain community, but EOS and Telos specifically!”Jelle van der Schoot, Lead Product at WordProof
